2008 LOFT WALK SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 12

WHEN: 5:30-7:30 p.m. – Thursday, June 12, 2008

WHERE: City National Bank, Hale Street

WHAT: The second annual Loft Walk will help guests get a taste of downtown living.

The free tour will include private residences, some developed and some not. Participants will learn about the adaptive reuse of historic downtown buildings, discover the charm of loft living and hopefully embrace an opportunity to be a part of Charleston’s future.

It begins at City National Bank’s Hale Street lobby, which itself has something of a loft atmosphere. The group will split into four groups with guides.

It ends at Callen McJunkin Gallery above Stray Dog Antiques.

Generation Charleston, the Charleston Area Alliance’s young professionals initiative, is hosting the event, while Meticulous catering is providing food throughout.
