Please join the Charleston Area Alliance and J.Q. Dickinson Salt Works for Business After Hours on Thursday, June 11 from 5-7 p.m.
A 7th generation salt-making family harvests an all-natural salt by hand, from an ancient ocean trapped below the Appalachian Mountains of the Kanawha Valley in West Virginia. Nancy Bruns and Lewis Payne have returned to their family's 200-year-old farm to harvest a rare salt; their salt making is a unique and innovative process, completed by hand without the use of big machinery and chemicals. They work to enhance the natural properties of the salt, using the power of the earth and hand-made tools to produce an extraordinarily pure product.
BAH events are fantastic opportunities to network and meet the region’s leaders in a relaxed setting, all while enjoying food and beverages.
Invoicing is available for groups of 10 or more. No cancellation refunds within 48 hours of event.
