Dressmaker's Closet Moves to Downtown Charleston
The Dressmaker’s Closet will celebrate the opening of its new Quarrier Street shop with a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 8.
The store recently moved from its Bridge Road site to its new location at 1021 Quarrier Street. The shop features an expanded storefront, longer service hours as well as its own product line of purses and accessories.
“We are extremely excited about our move to our new downtown location,” said Owner Julie Wirts. “This will allow us to continue offering the same great service we always have, while also offering new products that we are proud to be manufacturing in our new shop.”
The Dressmaker's Closet specializes in creating bespoke garments and altering off-the-rack clothes. The shop is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and by appointment Wednesdays. To make an appointment, call 304-720-1949 or visit The Dressmaker’s Closet at dressmakerscloset.com.
