  • Learn More about Generation Charleston During April ArtWalk

    Generation Charleston, the Charleston Area Alliance’s young talent committee, will host a membership drive 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 20 during Downtown Charleston ArtWalk outside Ivor’s Trunk, along Lee Way.

    Stop by the Generation Charleston event to learn how the group works to connect, engage and make a difference in the Kanawha Valley.

    “Our programming goal is to integrate young talent into the Charleston community,” said Bradley Harris, Generation Charleston’s Membership Communications Committee Chairman. “Our members become engaged with the community and connected with businesses throughout the region.”
    Generation Charleston offers community involvement, professional development, social interaction and networking opportunities throughout the year. Many of the programs are free or low-cost to young talent.
    Some of the group’s signature programs include Gain Prosper Succeed breakfasts, giving members
    the chance to interact with business leaders; Urban Living Week, a five-night program designed to highlighting ways to live, work and play in downtown Charleston; and Social Hours, monthly networking events at Alliance member businesses.
