As your multi-faceted economic, business, and community development organization, as well as the largest regional Chamber of Commerce in West Virginia, the Alliance has an impressive track record of real results for our region: attracting new jobs and investments, helping businesses accelerate profitability, launching visionary community and cultural enhancement projects and developing the talent and resources to sustain success for today and tomorrow.
“Return on Investment” is a campaign to sustain our progress and expand our impact in building a more vibrant community and prosperous economy for the next three years. At this high moment of change and challenge comes unprecedented opportunity. Investment in our community today will reap real rewards for tomorrow. Marshalling the input of respected business and community leaders from throughout the region, as well as our 600 members and their 40,000 employees, we’ve developed aggressive work plans to drive the programs and policies that will create a promising future. For the next three years, we will re-double our efforts to: But we can’t do it on our own. The “Return on Investment” campaign engages visionary business and community leaders in propelling these critical priorities through their investments in the Alliance of $5,000 and up. As a private, non-profit organization, nearly 80 percent of our program funding comes from member dues and contributions. The future depends on the strength and vitality of private investment in these initiatives.
