Registration Open for 2021-22 Leadership Kanawha Valley Class
Friday, July 23, 2021The Charleston Area Alliance is now accepting registrations for Leadership Kanawha Valley’s 2021-22 class.
Full-day program sessions are primarily scheduled on the first Thursday of every month from September 2021 to April 2022. The first session is scheduled for Sept. 9, 2021. Participants must attend seven of the eight scheduled sessions to graduate from the program. Program session dates are subject to change.
The registration rates are $495 for Alliance members and $695 for future members.
The Charleston Area Alliance Leadership Kanawha Valley program develops, supports and connects talent across the region. From young professionals to senior executives, the program gives participants the tools, knowledge, experiences and connections they need to enhance their community impact.
Sponsored by Thomas Health System and United Bank, Leadership Kanawha Valley builds strong connections across private, public and nonprofit sectors and helps graduates find their place in the community.
Through the eight-month program, participants learn about the issues shaping the community from the experts working on them, form lasting bonds with classmates who are active leaders, and strengthen professional skills with a leadership development curriculum. The program offers behind-the-scenes experiences, provides opportunities to deepen professional connections, and inspires participants to become more impactful leaders.
Leadership Kanawha Valley graduates are involved in the social, business and political fabric of the community. Since 2004, more than 400 have joined the Leadership Kanawha Valley alumni network.
