Opportunities for Connection & Growth

At the Charleston Area Alliance, we’re passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for professionals to connect, collaborate, and thrive. Our networking and professional development programs are designed to support your personal and career growth while building a stronger, more vibrant community. Whether you’re just starting out, making a career shift, or looking to deepen your local roots, you’ll find events that inspire and connections that last.

First Tuesdays

Casual. Connected. Community.

Join our program, Up Next Charlie West’s  First Tuesdays monthly networking social! Designed to bring young professionals together in a relaxed, welcoming setting. Held on the first Tuesday of every month at rotating venues, First Tuesdays offer great conversation, raffle prizes, and music from DJ EJ—all for free.

Come as you are, meet new people, and grow your network one Tuesday at a time.

Special thanks to our venue partners and DJ EJ for the food and entertainment!

Business After Hours

Charleston’s Premier Networking Experience

Held monthly at member-hosted locations, Business After Hours (BAH) is one of Charleston’s most anticipated professional events. These gatherings provide a unique chance to explore new venues, sample food and drinks from local chefs and caterers, and connect with fellow professionals from across the region.

Whether you’re making new contacts or catching up with familiar faces, BAH is the place to be for relaxed, effective networking.

Thank you to our Supporting Sponsor AARP and Contributing Sponsor DOW.
